John Henry's Marina and Resort

John Henry's Marina & Resort is a full-service waterfront marina located in historic Hospital Bay within Pender Harbour, Garden Bay, on British Columbia’s spectacular Sunshine Coast. Surrounded by sheltered waters, forested hills and rugged coastal scenery, the marina provides a convenient and welcoming base for exploring one of Canada’s most beautiful boating regions.

Well positioned along the Inside Passage cruising route, John Henry’s is an ideal stopping point for vessels travelling toward Princess Louisa Inlet, Desolation Sound, the Broughton Archipelago and destinations farther north along the British Columbia coast. Its protected Pender Harbour location also makes it an attractive destination in its own right for cruising, fishing, kayaking and exploring the Sunshine Coast.

The marina offers approximately 2,300 linear feet of moorage, including 40 slips ranging from approximately 32 to 80 feet, together with a long dock capable of accommodating larger vessels. Transient vessels are welcomed, while limited annual and seasonal moorage is also available. A dedicated area at the end of the long dock accommodates floatplane arrivals and departures, adding another convenient transport connection to this remote coastal destination.

Boaters have access to 30-amp and 50-amp shore power, fresh water, complimentary Wi-Fi, washrooms, hot showers, laundry facilities, garbage and recycling services, fish-cleaning stations and nearby parking. The marina also operates a marine fuel dock supplying gasoline and diesel, with fuel discounts available to marina guests.

One of John Henry’s distinctive advantages is the range of services available directly on the waterfront. The property includes a general store offering groceries and other supplies, a Canada Post outlet, seasonal dining, and oceanfront accommodation including cottages and other lodging options.
