Hammonasset Yacht Club offers 66 slips and winter storage at Clinton Yacht Haven Dockominium. Conveniently located halfway between New York and Boston—about a two-hour drive—our marina is 20 minutes from New Haven and 45 minutes from Hartford.
Nestled in a weather-protected area adjacent to Hammonasset Beach State Park, Connecticut’s largest shoreline park, the marina is just a scenic 20-minute journey through the channel to Long Island Sound. It provides exceptional protection from hurricanes and major storms, having sustained no material damage during Bob, Irene, or Sandy, and is surrounded by some of the region’s most beautiful natural habitats.
Clinton Harbor is an ideal base for day trips to the Thimble Islands, Connecticut River (Essex, Hamburg Cove), Thames River (Mohegan Sun Casino, New London), Mystic Seaport, Fishers Island, Orient Point, Port Jefferson, and many other nearby destinations.
