Description
Mystic Seaport Museum is an ideal destination, especially for boaters. Located on the historic Mystic River, just a short distance from Long Island Sound, our well-protected docks are situated north of both the Mystic River Highway Bridge and the Amtrak Mystic Railroad Bridge. We recently added 820' of floating docks and upgraded shore power connections.
Boaters and their guests enjoy complimentary museum admission while docked. Explore our 19th-century seafaring village, historic vessels, and exhibit halls. After visitors depart for the day, guests have the rare opportunity to experience the museum grounds in the evening—often cited as the most magical part of a stay.
Dockage includes free Wi-Fi, power, water, and other amenities. Downtown Mystic, just a short walk away, offers a variety of dining and shopping options. We strive to make every stay enjoyable and memorable.
The Amtrak Mystic Railroad Bridge opens on demand when no train traffic is present, and the Mystic River Highway Bridge opens 40 minutes after the hour upon request. Both bridges can be hailed on VHF Channel 13.
