New London Waterfront Park

Waterfront Park provides a range of services for visiting vessels, including trash removal, pump-out service, access to coin-operated laundry machines, and secure restroom and shower facilities. An access code for the facilities may be obtained from the Dock Master. Electricity and water can also be arranged in advance by contacting the Dock Master. Boaters are encouraged to inquire about additional conveniences and community services and to provide sufficient notice to allow for utility arrangements. Some services may be subject to fees and restrictions. Certain activities are prohibited at Waterfront Park, including diving or jumping from piers, rafting vessels at docks or moorings, skateboarding on structures or benches, and operating vehicles of any kind without Dock Master authorization. In accordance with city ordinance, open containers of alcoholic beverages are not permitted on city-owned property; however, alcohol may be enjoyed responsibly onboard vessels. During major events, and in coordination with the New London Police Department, coolers, backpacks, and strollers are not allowed within Waterfront Park, and security checkpoints will be in place. During large events such as Sailfest, pets must remain onboard vessels.
