Description
The Gloucester Harbormaster’s Office manages 30 transient/visitor moorings for vessels up to 60 feet in length. These moorings are located in three distinct areas of Gloucester Harbor:
Inner Harbor – Experience the daily activity of a vibrant working waterfront, all within close walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants.
Southeast Harbor – Enjoy views of the grand homes along Eastern Point, sunsets over the Western Harbor, and even the Boston skyline in the distance.
Western Harbor (off Stage Head) – The historic landing site of Gloucester’s original settlers, once used for drying fish. This area offers scenic views of downtown church steeples and the City Hall tower.
The Gloucester Harbor Launch is included at no additional charge with your reservation. It can be reached on VHF Channel 72 or by phone at 978-726-0155.
